Minimum Requirements to Apply
- U.S. citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One of the following:
- Associate’s degree or 60 college credits and current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate program; or
- Two years of active U.S. military service
- Valid New Jersey driver license
- Successful pre-employment background investigation
- Writing sample upon request
- Meet or exceed all New Jersey statutory qualifications for police officers
- Successful psychological and medical evaluations following a conditional offer of employment
