The Maplewood Police Department's Detective Bureau is headed by Det. Lt. Michael Palmerezzi and staffed by well-trained and highly motivated Detectives. Members of the Detective Bureau routinely investigate a variety of crimes, ranging from check fraud to bank robbery. Detectives also provide a variety of non-criminal services to the community.  

The Maplewood Neighborhood Video Alliance encourages residents and businesses to register their privately owned home/business video surveillance in efforts to increase safety and reduce crime.
